We have decided not to have a birthday party, I hope I don't regret it. I really don't have the desire to plan a party right now which is so not like me. We are going to spend the day as a family, probably take him to Gymboree and have a homemade birthday cake. We will save the big parties for when he gets older.

but he only turns one once! well then again, its not like you're NOT celebrating and letting it pass. its just a nicer more intimate celebration with his favorite people!
